Osteoblastoma of the Maxilla, a case report

20-yrs-old female with 7 years history of mass at the right palate , gradually increasing in size.There was noticed increase in growth rate since last one year. Multi planar CT scan of the neck and paranasal sinuses and gadolinium enhanced MRI of the neck was performed.Radiological findings revealed a large osseous lesion at the right maxilla with extension to the right nasal cavity.Provisional diagnosis of fibrous dysplasia was made.The surgeon were also convinced with the diagnosis of fibrous dysplasia , however hispathological diagnosis of Osteoblastoma was confirmed.The pathologist specially mentioned that the mass was not suggestive of fibrous dysplasia.
