Wow! What an exciting time we are going through!

We just took a quick look on our registration numbers and noticed that since December 2009 we increased our membership numbers by 66 percent! (Within only 3 months!!!) At the end of the RSNA meeting Radiolopolis had "only" 1800 members. With each day we notice an increasing rate of new registrations and to date we welcome 2730 members to our "family". Isn't this amazing!?

To a great extend we relate this high popularity to the extensive interactivity between our members, the protected and "professional" environment and the unique educational value of dozens of our integrated affiliate programs. - Because collaboration is the key to success!

The ARRS (American Roentgen Ray Society) group has just implemented a new upgrade: the group members can now access the table of contents of the latest issue of the journal "AJR" (American Journal of Roentgenology). It is available under the discussion section on the group frontpage.

The RSNA group has just implemented a new upgrade: the group members can now access the table of contents of the latest issue of the journal "Radiographics". It is available under the discussion section on the group frontpage.

Radiopaedia.org's popular Radiology Teaching File for the iPhone has now been updated to version 2. 

The user interface has been improved, cases have been added to the existing volume (free update) and sample reports are now present for every case. Additional annotated images and diagrams have also been added.

Additionally the full version of Volume 3: musculoskeletal system is now also available.
Each volume comes in LITE (free) and FULL version.

Call for Reviewers!

Journal of Radiology Case Reports (JRCR)

The review process is blinded and exceptional by taking usually no more than 7 days - compared to months (and even years with revisions) in traditional journals, which can be very frustrating for authors.

To maintain the high quality and quick submission turnaround, we are depending on our reviewers and are continuously searching for new reviewers who would love to participate in this pioneering new journal system.

To explain the peer review process:

Three independent reviewers are asked to judge the submission based on the journal criteria. The review process is blinded and should be finished within 7 days. Selection of reviewers is based on their field of expertise and review interests.

Radiopaedia.org is a free online radiology resource built and maintained by it's users. Section editors , as well as being regular users are responsible for overseeing part of the site (e.g. Gastrointestinal section). It is a great way to contribute to the site and have something on your CV to show for it.
We are now accepting applications for all positions, and the positions will be finalized in a month or so. Positions will be awarded primarily based on recent contributions, so even if you have not signed up yet, there is plenty of time to apply and contribute.

Thanks to Medical Illustrator (http://www.medicalillustrator.net/) - which has been presented at the ICR 2009 and implemented into Radiolopolis - it is now possible for Radiolopolis members to edit their images directly from this website.

And another major update have been done for the case gallery: Clickable hyperlinks and automatic thumbnail creation
