How can I earn Karma/points?

It is actually easy:

After you registered on Radiolopolis, you can immediately earn points by:

  • Inviting friends to Radiolopolis
  • Making friends
  • Joining groups
  • Creating your own groups (e.g. residency groups, special interest groups etc.)
  • Uploading Radiology cases / Radiology images
  • Uploading Radiology related videos
  • Adding Radiology related video feeds from Youtube or Google
  • Posting in discussion forums
  • Blogging (you have automatically your own Radiology blog as a Radiolopolis member!)
  • Creating teaching files with the newly integrated and ARRS and ECR awarded Radiology teaching file program Radiology Teacher

The following is a detailed list of our point system.

About Karma and the Radiolopolis point system:

Radiolopolis incorporates a comprehensive award system. Members who contribute to our community receive points for their actions, which in return will open more opportunities for them (e.g. access to more valuable information, tools etc.). Contributions like cases, video uploads, forum posts, group memberships and friendships are highly valued on Radiolopolis. The more you contribute, the more points you earn.  Your karma growth also proportional to your earned points. Karma is a contribution indicator and is symbolized by the green karma chalices below your name.

Geoff,
100 points are needed to see the explanations. The quickest way is to upload several cases or videos/video feeds (e.g. from youtube or Google video)

New Radiology case gallery improvement: edit/de-identify online

We just added another update for the case gallery: edit/de-identify

Thanks to Medical Illustrator (http://www.medicalillustrator.net/) - which has been presented at the ICR 2009 and implemented into Radiolopolis - it is now possible for Radiolopolis members to edit their images directly from this website.
