Meetings

Are you going to the RSNA, ECR, ARRS?

The RSNA meeting has just ended and was again - a spectacular radiological event. But the next meetings are already knocking at your door! If you plan to go to the ECR or ARRS meeting, then please join the RSNA, ECR or ARRS group.
You'll find other Radiolopolis members who will also attend the meeting, participate in discussions, announce your presentations, schedule meetings with others, find help in getting the best accommodations for the meeting and more.

Radiology boards wisdom of the day:
Calcium pyrophosphate deposition (CPPD) may cause narrowing throughout the tricompartmental joint space of the knee; however, there is a predilection for the patellofemoral joint and the medial tibia femoral joint space. Other locations include the triangular fibrocartilage of the wrist, sacroiliac joints, symphysis pubis, the glenoid of the shoulder, labrum of the hip, the elbow, ankle, and acromioclavicular joint. Although there may be peripheral intervertebral disc calcification, the nucleus is never calcified. CPPD is associated with hemochromatosis, primary hyperparathyroidism, hypothyroidism, and hypomagnesemia. Other findings include large subchondral cysts and many intraarticular bodies from subchondral bone fragmentation.

New Radiology case gallery improvement: edit/de-identify online

We just added another update for the case gallery: edit/de-identify

Thanks to Medical Illustrator (http://www.medicalillustrator.net/) - which has been presented at the ICR 2009 and implemented into Radiolopolis - it is now possible for Radiolopolis members to edit their images directly from this website.
