This post is in regard to an author's question about deadlines: There is no deadline for manuscript submissions, since the review process takes weeks and usually it takes weeks for the revisions and review of revisions. So, I would not try to target a specific future journal issue when submitting - would be otherwise a lottery game. After providing the final revision, we can however closer estimate the publication date.

We also try to provide one article per section, so if we have several GI or Neuro articles in the submission queue then we take the first accepted one and publish the other ones in the following issues. This could potentially lead to a publication several months after acceptance.

Re-review of priority passes should be finished also within two weeks. Make sure you label your notifications as indicated. Please follow the instructions you should have received when purchasing the priority pass. Please submit any manuscript specific inquiries through the journal online messaging system, so that each message is associated with the specific submission. Thank you

Could you please confirm the estimated timeframe for the re-review process, given that I have purchased the priority pass for initial review?
