Rivka R Colen, MD is a radiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and specializes in neuroradiology and image- guided therapy, specifically intraoperative MRI and MR- guided focused ultrasound ( Neuro-Interventional MRI). Her interests include research in neuro-radiology and image guided therapy in the treatment of brain tumors. She performs research in novel neurointerventional diagnostic and therapeutic modalities and the application of MR imaging. She intimately involved in intraoperative MRI in neurosurgery and MR guided focused ultrasound ablation of brain tumors and targeted drug delivery. She spearheads The Cancer Genomic Atlas Imaging- Genomic project at Harvard Medical School which discovers and correlates genes and microRNA in brain tumors with MR imaging.
